Onlooker John Highsmith takes a gander at “Blue Heron,” the latest metal sculpture from Grace Cathey at the “Fire & Ice: Pottery, Glass and Metalwork” gallery reception on Jan. 27 at the Haywood County Arts Council in Waynesville.The show celebrates the heating and cooling process involved in the making of pottery, glass and metal work.
