Dynamic flute and guitar duo to perform in Canton

art musiciansFlutist Kate Steinback and guitarist Amy Brucksch will play in concert at 3 p.m. on Sept. 16 at the Canton library.

These classically trained musicians perform an eclectic blend of works for flute and guitar. From Bach to Bossa Nova, Steinback and Brucksch entertain audiences with their luminous, lyrical playing and rich musical styles.

The duo have been collaborative partners since 2005 and produced a critically acclaimed album, “Luminescence” in 2010.

The free concert is sponsored by the Leapin’ Frog Gallery and is part of the Sunday Concert Series co-sponsored by the Arts Council and the Friends of the Haywood County Library.
