The festival kicks off on July 18 at the Folkmoot Friendship Center for HomeTrust Bank’s Haywood County Family Night. The performance of two groups is family-centered and includes sodas, freeze pops and popcorn, all for $10 adults and $5 children.
International Festival Day, a free event associated with Folkmoot, will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 21 on Main Street in Waynesville. The world bazaar will feature more than hundred artists, craftsmen, and international guests sell a wide range of art and craft.
The day will also includes regional performances by international folk dancers and musicians from Folkmoot USA.
