Nominations for this year’s Southern Trout Legends of the Fly Hall of Fame include several anglers from the Smokies region, two of whom are in Western North Carolina.

Other nominees from the larger region include Jeff Durniak of Rabun County, Georgia; Byron Begley of Townsend, Tennessee; and Cap Weiss of Caldwell County, North Carolina.
