Muzzleloading and pig picking

out muzzleloadingThe French Broad Rifles club will host a Primitive Black Powder Muzzleloading shoot Oct. 4-6 near Marshall.

 

The public is invited to see a variety of traditional Muzzleloading rifles at this educational and family-friendly event. The shoot will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4; 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5; and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6. In addition, a pig picking will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. There will also be a woods walk, a Seneca run, novelty targets, tomahawk and knife throwing, and fire starting with flint and steel.
